Frisur Clothing is on Stole the Snow from our first season and we are gladly presenting their new collection, “Caraffa”. The two designers (Thies Meyer and Stephan Sunder-Plassmann, you can read our interview here) took inspiration from interior design, namely the first ever design object: a minimal carafe with a cascading spout. This was a collaborative project with the Italian design studio and communication research centre FABRICA.
In the place of whimsical graphic prints from its previous collections, Frisur employ rich textures and new technical fabrics to create garments that are sleek and minimalist, much like the design object. Stark whites and rich crèmes are combined with sky-blues and airy khakis. Blue denim and chambray add workwear and elements of Americana to sophisticated Scandinavian influences.
